Meet Ms. Kim Chen Tsuneta

Beloved, Former Braddock MI TA and Passionate Educator

We’re excited to welcome Kimberly Tsuneta (née Chen) to our Pokémon Brickmasters team at Braddock! Many families already know Kimberly from her years as a Teaching Assistant in Braddock’s Mandarin Immersion Program, where she supported students with patience, warmth, and a natural ability to connect with children.

At home, Kimberly is a Pokémon and LEGO mom through and through. Her son is a huge Pokémon fan who loves building epic creations out of bricks — and Kimberly is right there with him, designing, building, and imagining new characters and scenes together. Her experience building with her own kids brings an authentic spark of creativity and joy to every class.

Originally from San Jose, with childhood years spent in Taipei, Kimberly brings a rich background in culture, language, and hands-on learning. Her two children currently attend Braddock, and she understands exactly what excites young learners and keeps them engaged.

From her classroom experience to her at-home building adventures, Kimberly brings the perfect blend of creativity, care, and kid-centered teaching to Pokémon Brickmasters.

We’re thrilled for your children to build, create, and discover with her this semester!
