At Little Panda Scholars, we carefully plan each class based on confirmed student enrollment. Our programs require us to commit to instructors, classroom rentals, curriculum, materials, and staffing levels well in advance.

Registration is a semester-long commitment, and tuition is non-refundable once payment is submitted. We understand that families may occasionally select the wrong class or realize they need a different day, so we provide a short window for schedule changes, subject to availability.

Cancellations & Refunds

Once registration and payment are submitted, enrollment is considered final and tuition is non-refundable.

We are unable to provide:

• Full or partial refunds

• Prorated refunds

• Credits toward future classes, programs, or semesters

• Transfers of tuition to another child or family

This applies if a student withdraws or stops attending for any reason.

Because registration reserves a limited spot in the class, cancellation does not eliminate the family's financial commitment for the semester or program term.

Schedule or Class Changes

We understand that mistakes happen or schedules may change shortly after registration.

Within 48 hours of registration and payment:
Families may request a change to another available class or day at no additional charge.

After 48 hours:
Approved parent-requested changes are subject to a $40 schedule change fee.

All changes are:

• Subject to space availability

• Subject to program and age/level requirements

• Not guaranteed

If the requested class or day is full or we otherwise cannot accommodate the change, the student's original enrollment remains in place.

The $40 fee covers the administrative and operational work required to update confirmed enrollment, which may include class rosters, staffing plans, student pickup arrangements, classroom capacity, materials, and enrollment records.

Why This Policy Exists

Once a student enrolls, Little Panda Scholars begins making commitments based on that enrollment, including:

• Reserving your child's spot and limiting enrollment accordingly

• Renting classrooms from LAUSD, a significant fixed expense regardless of attendance

• Hiring and scheduling instructors in advance

• Purchasing individual kits, materials, and classroom supplies

• Planning curriculum and differentiated instruction

• Maintaining appropriate class sizes and staffing levels

• Coordinating student pickup and afterschool-care arrangements

A withdrawal or schedule change can therefore affect much more than one student's registration.

These policies allow us to keep classes small, staff appropriately, plan responsibly, and provide a consistent, high-quality learning experience.

Absences

Missed classes due to illness, travel, school events, extracurricular activities, family scheduling conflicts, or other personal reasons are not eligible for refunds, credits, prorated tuition, or transfers.

We do not offer make-up classes unless specifically stated for a particular program.

​

Cancellations by Little Panda Scholars

If Little Panda Scholars cancels an entire class or program, families will be offered:

• An appropriate alternative class, when available; or

• A refund for the portion of the program canceled by Little Panda Scholars.

If an individual class session is canceled by Little Panda Scholars, we will communicate with affected families regarding a make-up session, credit, or refund for the canceled session, as appropriate.

School or Program Changes

Because our programs operate on school campuses, occasional operational changes may be outside our control.

Changes such as classroom assignments or room locations do not qualify for cancellation, refunds, or credits.

If Little Panda Scholars or the school requires a material change to the scheduled day or time, we will work directly with affected families to find an appropriate solution.

Please carefully review your child's class, day, time, age/grade requirements, and family schedule before completing registration.
