MANDARIN MORNINGS &
STEM ADVENTURES
The only camp in Los Angeles where kids practice Mandarin, build hands-on STEAM projects, and stay active — all in one place.
Our summer program blends language learning, creative engineering, and movement to create an experience that is both educational and exciting. Designed for ages 5–10, our small-group environment helps children build confidence, creativity, and friendships.
Our camp runs during the late summer weeks when many LAUSD programs have already ended, making it a great option for families looking for a camp right before school starts.
Mandarin Mornings
Students practice conversational Mandarin through engaging activities and creative projects.
Activities include:
-
storytelling and role play
-
games and collaborative challenges
Bonus Back-to-School Booster

Because this camp takes place during the two weeks leading up to the start of school, we include daily reading and writing practice tied to grade level review.
-
Examples:
-
Students entering 1st grade review Kindergarten vocabulary
-
Students entering 2nd grade review 1st grade vocabulary
-
-
This helps children start the school year feeling confident in their Mandarin skills.
-
Students in this track should currently be enrolled in a Mandarin language or immersion program.
