Step into the world of Rumi, Mira, Zoey — and the mysterious Saja Boys! In this action-packed STEAM Academy, students join the Idol Hunters Squad, a group of superstar idols with secret demon-hunting powers. Each week, kids complete hands-on physics, engineering or craft missions to build the gadgets, potions, and tools needed to outsmart mischievous demons and face off against the famously stylish Saja Boys.

(Mandarin + English Instruction Model)

To support students in the Mandarin Immersion (MI) program while keeping science content accessible, we teach the class using a dual-language approach:

• Science concepts & vocabulary are taught in English
  Terms like friction, air pressure, light diffusion, and refraction are far beyond typical MI grade-level Mandarin, so delivering them in English ensures scientific accuracy, comprehension, and confidence.

• Build instructions, classroom directions, and execution are taught in Mandarin
  This allows students to practice functional Mandarin listening skills while doing hands-on engineering tasks, following multi-step directions, and communicating with the teacher in Mandarin.

• We meet students where they are
  The Mandarin used aligns with the range of proficiency within MI classes, so all students can participate successfully and enjoyably.

• All take-home materials are provided in BOTH English and Chinese
  This supports families who want extra practice at home, encourages bilingual reinforcement, and allows both parents and students to engage with the vocabulary together.
